# Mapping

## Description:

Transaction Mapping

Use this component to map an attribute with the parent Transaction attribute.

Parent attribute value will be assigned to child attribute on save. If it is a new record then the platform will first save the parent record and then the parent attribute value will be assigned to the mapped child attribute before saving child transaction.

Similarly, on a query of child transaction, parent attribute value will be the value for the mapped child attribute in the where clause. e.g.. #childattr# = #parentAttr#

### Allowed Parent Components:

1. Transaction

### Allowed Child Components:

1. Trigger Before Render
