In order to migrate the patch that is downloaded from another instance to the current instance, you must upload the downloaded patch to the current instance.
To upload a patch,
On the upper right corner of the CloudIO homepage, click . The Navigation page is displayed.
2. Under Patch Manager, click Manage Patches. The patch downloads/uploads page is displayed.
3. Click Upload. The list of all the uploaded files along with their details is displayed.
The Upload tab displays all the uploaded patches along with the following details:
Patch detail
Description
Patch
The name of the patch
Status
The status of application of the patch
This field displays one of the following values:
Running: The patch is being uploaded.
Success: The patch has been applied to the current instance successfully.
Failed: An error occurred during the uploading of the patch.
Log
The records of the events and errors associated with the creation of the patch file
Diff
The difference that will take effect before applying the patch
Apply/Reprocess
Allows you to apply the uploaded patch to the current instance
Status date
The date on which the patch was processed
Download Patch
The patch file in the .zip format
4. To upload a patch, in the upper right corner, click Upload.
The Upload Patch window is displayed.
5. Enter Patch Name, upload the required zip file and click Submit. The patch file is uploaded.
Note: To apply a patch, the status of the patch should display the value Processed.
Pending: The patch needs to be reprocessed To reprocess a patch, in the Apply/Reprocess column, click .
To access the log, in the Log column, click for the respective patch.
6. To apply the uploaded patch to the current instance, in the Apply/Reprocess column, click . The patch is applied to the current instance and is available in the corresponding CloudIO component section. The status of the patch is updated to Success. For example, if a datasource patch is applied, it will be available in the Manage Datasources page.
